Our members get stuff done and we celebrate that. They have changed the performing arts landscape, expanded inclusion, broadened participation, created ethical standards and adopted equitable practices. Every year, we honor contributions of agents and managers to the field and recognize presenters who uphold NAPAMA’s core values through our Annual Awards.
At my first NAPAMA retreat, I discovered a group of arts professionals (agents, managers, self repped artists, and presenters) who were creating and propagating best practices in an industry that is rumored to be very insular, where everyone works within a silo. It was a community of people who knew what they are doing and were willing to share..

Working in the arts can be really hard, especially during a pandemic, but in this community, we show up for each other to make it a little less challenging, and a whole lot more fun. It is this spirit of camaraderie and care, not just for fellow agents and managers, but for the field as a whole that drew me to this organization.

I am so proud of and learn from the work of our members and the artists and communities we collectively represent and serve each day, and I know your perspective will only make this organization richer. I hope you will join us.
