The NAPAMA Award for Excellence in Presenting the Performing Arts and the Liz Silverstein Award for Agent-Manager of the Year are annual citations of excellence awarded to a presenter and agent-manager respectively.
About
The NAPAMA Awards celebrate outstanding contributions to the touring performing arts field through two annual honors:
- Liz Silverstein Award for Agent-Manager of the Year — awarded to an agent-manager who exemplifies professionalism, mentorship, and excellence.
- NAPAMA Award for Excellence in Presenting the Performing Arts — awarded to a presenter who demonstrates innovation, leadership, and impact in their work.
These honors recognize individuals who:
- Provide exemplary mentoring
- Model best practices, achievement, and leadership
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in the field





*The Agent-Manager of the Year Award is named in memory of Liz Silverstein, a cherished agent-manager whose tireless support, generosity, and spirit of collaboration strengthened our entire community.

NAPAMA Liz Silverstein Award for Agent-Manager of the Year
Kris Kaminski — Managing Director, ECE Touring

About Kris:
Kris started at EastCoast Entertainment in 1988 and has been an agent since 1990. During her 38 years with the agency, she’s worked with thousands of clients to book artists for Performing Arts venues, college events, festivals, casinos, corporate and private events, and more.
In 2016, she joined the company’s ownership team as the first female Managing Director, overseeing ECE Touring, the company’s Performing Arts/Touring Division, which she co-founded in 1996.
Kris’s previous roles include serving as the Market Manager for the University and Performing Arts Market within ECE, and she was an Associate Member Representative for NACA (National Association for Campus Activities). She is also a proud member of APAP (Association of Performing Arts Presenters), OAPN (OH Arts Presenter Network), Pennsylvania Presenters, NCPC (NC Presenters Consortium), MI Presenters, TN Presenters, IEBA (International Entertainment Buyers Association,) and NAPAMA (North American Performing Arts Managers and Agents).
Kris serves as the Responsible Agent for The Second City, the legendary Chicago comedy theater, The Imaginaries, Alfreda Sings!, Masters of Soul – a Motown Revue, Big Bang Boom, Six-One-Five Collective, Vox Britannia-The Best of British Rock ‘N’ Roll, Good Co-Electro Swing, and more.
Kris’ volunteer roles include six years on the Board of Directors for NAPAMA (North American Performing Arts Managers and Agents) as Vice-President and Secretary on the Executive Committee, numerous Mentor opportunities through MAX, NCPC, APAP, and NAPAMA, as well as 17 years as a leader in Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, PTA, and other trade associations. She is currently serving as APAP Conference Co-Chair for 2026 and 2027 and on the NCPC ArtsMarket Task Force.

Nominations
CRITERIA
- Nominees must be active in the performing arts industry, representing artists, attractions, or events deliverable to the presenting field.
- Self-represented artists/producers are eligible for the Agent-Manager Award.
Excellence is defined as:
- Exemplary mentoring of colleagues
- Best practices, achievement, and leadership in their field
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity in programming, rosters, or touring practices
Process & Info
- Voting is open to NAPAMA members only
- Each member organization may nominate one presenter and one agent-manager per year
- The current NAPAMA Board of Directors selects the winners
- Deadline: December 1, 2025
- Nominations can be submitted confidentially
- You CAN nominate someone who is NOT a current NAPAMA member.
- NAPAMA Board Members are NOT eligible for nominations.
- Winners are announced and recognized during the yearly APAP Honors Ceremony in New York City.
