Caravan Details

The caravan is back!

NAPAMA is pleased to offer this benefit to current members. We have made arrangements to provide a most cost effective means of transporting members' booth materials to/from AMW, WAA, and PAE.

This year, NAPAMA is partnering with Rock-it Cargo for the caravan. Andrew Delicata and Michele Safarik from Rock-it Cargo (RIC) will coordinate shipping instructions and make sure your booth materials arrive on time to each conference.

As in the past, members are responsible for transporting their own materials to the first conference (WAA in Las Vegas), and then home after the last conference (PAE in Orlando). Rock-it Cargo will only be on-site assisting with the outbound from Las Vegas to Indianapolis.

Interested in taking advantage of the caravan? Please read all the details here.

Sign up using the Google Form here.

The Caravan is available to current members ONLY. Your membership must be current/up-to-date to participate. Membership lapsed? Not a member? Join or renew.

NAPAMA at the fall regional conferences

NAPAMA+2018+PC.png

NAPAMA will have a strong presence at the fall conferences this year.

Once again, we offer Making Artistic Cents as part of the regional's professional development programs. This year's theme is Mission & Money.

At each conference we'll also host a membership meeting. These meetings are open to all conference attendees to learn more about NAPAMA and our current initiatives.

NAPAMA is pleased to sponsor the new colleagues reception at WAA, AMW and PAE. In line with our mission, we support our colleagues and recognize how overwhelming it can be for a someone new to the field or new to a particular role. We invite you to join us and meet and welcome new friends.

We'll also host a special reception at Arts Midwest this year. This event was popular and well attended last year and we wanted to offer it again to kick off the season. It is open to all although you must RSVP.

Visit our Events page to view full details about all these opportunities.

About the Shawnee Inn & Gold Resort

You only have to visit The Shawnee Inn once to be captivated by its majestic mountain scenery and historic charm. Just two miles from the Delaware Water Gap and I-80, this landmark resort sits at the rolling foothills of Pennsylvania’s magnificent Pocono Mountains – just 75 miles from New York City and 90 miles from Philadelphia.

Built in 1911, this stately and historic retreat has welcomed generations of outdoor enthusiasts.  Now, The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is poised to write a new chapter in its celebrated history, adding modern twists to the beloved pastimes and pursuits of its forefathers. Whether you’re sharpening your swing at the Tillinghast Golf Academy, enjoying a ShawneeCraft brew at our new Gem and Keystone Brewpub or sampling honey from our bee hives, you’ll understand why Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is Pennsylvania’s preferred Poconos getaway.

The Shawnee Inn has a very entertaining past. In 1943, musician Fred Waring acquired the Buckwood Inn and renamed it the Shawnee Inn and Country Club, a golf resort. To promote the Inn, Waring centered his musical activities at the Inn itself.  He created, rehearsed and broadcast his radio programs from the stage of Shawnee's Worthington Hall throughout the 1940s, organized the Fred Waring Choral Workshop at the Shawnee Playhouse and founded the music publishing company, Shawee Press.  www.shawneeinn.com
