Save the date for the 8th Annual NAPAMA Agents & Managers Retreat at Bahia Mar in Fort Lauderdale May 20-22, 2018 - Registration opens December 15!
The NAPAMA Agents & Managers Retreat is now in its eighth year! It has grown since its inception in 2011, both in numbers, and in ideas and content. In 2018 we return to Fort Lauderdale, FL and the conveniently located Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach - a Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, Sunday, May 20 through Tuesday, May 22, 2018.
Registration for NAPAMA members in $200 per person on or before March 1; $225 per person after March 1. Registration for non-NAPAMA members is $250 per person on or before March 1; $275 per person after March 1.
The NAPAMA Agents & Managers Retreat is open to any agent, manager, self-managed artist or presenter who is interested in being part of the conversation. The Retreat provides small business owners who operate within the performing arts industry an opportunity to network, learn, and share information and resources with other agents and managers. It is three days where agents and managers step away from their daily operations to focus on business planning and solutions for current issues. This year's topics will include sales training and strategy, agency methodology, social media, equity in the arts, and work/life balance.
Our special guests this year include Art Waber, Certified Integrative Health Coach, former artist manager and NAPAMA board member; Kaisha Johnson, Executive Director, Women of Color in the Arts; Dena Blizzard, Comedienne and social media phenomenon; and Cynthia McGovern, Sales Training Consultant Extraordinaire, Orange Leaf Consulting.
