2017 Agents & Managers Retreat Detailed Information

This year's retreat will be most content-filled retreat to date with four terrific guest speakers interspersed with time for socializing and R&R.  Yes, there will be another hike! It was so popular last year that David Wannen has agreed to take the group on another jaunt on the Appalachian Trail on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m.

New this year is a First-Time Attendees Orientation and an informal session on Zoho CRM, For those who are currently using this system and for those who might be curious to see if they system might make sense for you, please join for this knowledge-sharing session.

We will officially kick-off the event with Re-Energize and Reboot (R&R) by Art Waber, Certified Integrative Health Coach (and former arts administrator, agent and NAPAMA board member 2000-2006).

Monday and Tuesday, we have three media masters to help you navigate your way through the ever-changing maze of marketing and social media:

David Dombrosky—All About the Database and #YouCanDoThis

                                    Christy BolingbrokeCuratorial Marketing

                                    David RowellContent Marketing

Other sessions this year include Agency Methodology, Introduction to International Touring and Central Withholding Agreement

One unique trait to the philosophy of the retreat is that if you feel you would be better served taking time for self-care rather than attending a specific session, you are encouraged to do just that! If it's meaningful for you, be there. If not, do what you need to do to take care of yourself.

In addition to great professional development, we encourage you to take advantage of the on-site amenities and recreational options in the Poconos. Please take a few minutes to explore the Shawnee Inn web site to learn more about recreational offerings and hatch a plan with a friend. www.shawneeinn.com

Re-Energize and Reboot (R&R)

Live More Mindfully ~ Feel Healthier ~ Gain More Vitality

Sunday, May 21   4:15 pm – 5:30 pm.

What would it be like to have an inspiring plan for optimal wellness?  We have plans for other areas of our lives (and our artists) but most of us don’t have a plan for our health.  Through this energizing Spark Session, you will emerge with a vision for optimal health in your life, guided by what you value most.  We won’t be fixing anything that’s wrong—it’s about crafting a plan for lasting changes that will empower and inspire you.  And, it’s about utilizing tools of self-care and mindful awareness to help you realize those goals and create the life you want to live.

Participants will:

·       Practice mindful meditation, gentle-yet-energizing movement, and simple breathing techniques

·        Utilize the Wheel of Health

·       Create an individualized plan for optimal health based on personal values and future vision, plus a take-away goal to start working on now.

·        Enjoy…lively conversation, time for reflection and renewal, and good camaraderie in an affirmative environment.
